What this site is
Section titled “What this site is”Everything we cover in class lives in these pages:
- Syllabus & Outline — course plan, the Seven-Question AI Check, schedule, grading, and policies.
- Class Sessions — a page per class (10 total): objectives, minute-by-minute agenda, key terms, and the homework prompt-log entry. Written for students who missed a day or want to revisit a skill.
- Resources — the Should-I-Use-AI decision diagram, fact-checking sources, and the tools we use in class.
How the course runs
Section titled “How the course runs”One hour a week. The first half builds academic skills — what AI is, why it lies confidently, how to prompt it, and how to study, research, and write with it. The second half points the same skills at careers — brainstorming options, job-search documents, and verifying AI’s advice before it shapes your plans. Everything converges on the Final Challenge: you present your process, not just your product.
The one rule that ties it together: AI should assist thinking, not replace it.
